Town Meetings & Elections
Overview
Town Meetings and Elections are central to Plympton's government. The Municipal Bylaws stipulate that the annual ballot election take place on the third Saturday in May, and that the Annual Town Meeting take place on the preceding Wednesday. Special Town Meetings and Special Elections may also be called during the year. The Upcoming Town Meeting page contains details such as the date, time, and place, and also includes the Warrant, when available, for Annual and Special Town Meetings. The Historical Town Meetings page contains information on past Annual and Special Town Meetings. The Upcoming Town Election page may contain information such as the date, polling hours, sample ballots, open positions, candidates, and position papers for Town, State, and National elections.
