Town Meetings and Elections are central to Plympton's government. The Municipal Bylaws stipulate that the annual ballot election take place on the third Saturday in May, and that the Annual Town Meeting take place on the preceding Wednesday. Special Town Meetings and Special Elections may also be called during the year.
