SLYF is an organization that has been in the Silver Lake Region for over 20 years. The SLYF board consists of a President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary, and Director of Football Operations who are elected by the membership (any parent with a child in SLYF).

The Silver Lake Warriors are part of the Old Colony Youth Football League of Massachusetts. The players and cheerleaders are from the towns of Plympton, Halifax, Kingston and Pembroke.
